DANGEROUS ART vol. 1 (D’Art)
Music is art imitating life imitating art. Hip Hop is one of the most influential musical genres of all time, with the power to both heal and harm. A power that can unleashed for better or worse. Any artist who understands the power they possess, know that they carry the burden of being responsible for how that power is used. The results can be beautiful but dangerous at the same time. While honouring that responsibility is a choice, the influence that comes with it is not.
The concept of this project ‘DANGEROUS ART’ is to elevate the awareness of fans and artists alike, for it is only within that awareness that we can direct the energy of our ART to resonate with upliftment and without reservation.

THE ARTIST
Widely considered one of Toronto’s Hip Hop legends, Solitair’s many contributions have made an indelible impact on the Canadian urban music landscape, and the music industry as a whole.
Throughout his more than 20 year career, Solitair has amassed an impressive legacy showing his strengths as an introspective and fearless mc with thought provoking rhymes and uplifting messages, as well as a talented producer and engineer with a keen ear for crafting musical masterpieces.

4 Sound Music school offers beginner, intermediate & advanced lessons, taught by professional instructors.
SOCIAL JUSTICE WORK
A Toronto based non-profit based on working with youth and young adults around themes of forgiveness, restorative justice and conflict management.
